After nearly a year away, the iconic Smurfs mural has finally returned to the Brussels Comic Book Route!
You can now find them once again at their usual spot — the Passage Hilton, just a short walk from the Hilton Brussels Grand Place.
Last spring, the ceiling above the mural suffered a major structural issue, forcing its temporary removal to ensure pedestrian safety. Thanks to careful restoration, this beloved piece of street art is back, ready to charm visitors and locals alike.

A Blue Carpet Première: The Smurfs World debut in Brussels
The new Smurfs movie will have its world premiere in Brussels on Saturday, June 28th, just steps away from the Hilton Brussels Grand Place. The city will come alive with a truly “Smurfy” atmosphere to celebrate these beloved blue characters.
This eagerly awaited film follows the success of the previous Smurfs movies from 2011 and 2013, with a wider release scheduled for Wednesday, July 16th.
Pop star Rihanna voices Smurfette in the original version, while the French cast features Sofia Essaïdi, François Damiens, Dorothée, Virginie Hocq, and Patricia Kaas.
