A stay made personal: Welcoming Paris Hilton to Hilton Brussels Grand Place

Brussels turned pink in July

At Hilton Brussels Grand Place, we believe the most memorable stays are shaped around the people experiencing them. Sometimes that means remembering a favourite detail, sometimes creating space for the whole family, and sometimes transforming a hotel arrival into something completely unexpected.

When Paris Hilton returned to stay with us for the third time, ahead of her performance at Tomorrowland, it gave our team another opportunity to bring that philosophy to life. Her visit became a weekend of personalised touches, Belgian flavours, family moments, and local collaborations, each reflecting the kind of experience we aim to create for every guest who walks through our doors.

Upstairs, the welcome continued in the hotel’s Presidential Suite. With the support of The Mood Event, the space was decorated to create a personalised setting for Paris and her partner: fancy, minimalistic, and unmistakably pink.

Our Presidential Suite offers guests an elevated way to experience a stay in the heart of Brussels, combining generous space with the comfort and privacy of one of the hotel’s signature accommodations.

Local partner brands also wanted to make sure Paris felt like home: CÎME gifted her with a special skincare kit and Franky brought a fun local flavour with its hot dogs.

Our approach extends to four-legged family members as well. Although Paris’s dogs did not join the Brussels trip this time, Bo & Suus made sure they were not forgotten, preparing gifts for them to enjoy back home.

As a pet-friendly hotel, we know that for many travellers, a family trip includes more than two-legged guests. And whether someone arrives with children, a partner, a pet, or simply a suitcase after a long journey, the goal remains the same: to create a comfortable place where they can recharge before whatever comes next.

A home away from home

Travelling is rarely just about where you sleep, especially when the whole family comes along.

While Paris prepared for a busy weekend, Hilton Brussels Grand Place became a place where her family could slow down, spend time together, and simply settle in.

The Mood Event created a playful space especially for her children, Phoenix and London, complete with toys gifted by the Smurfs. The result was a room designed not only around the adults travelling, but around the youngest guests too.

A taste of Brussels

One of the pleasures of travelling is discovering a destination through its flavours, and Paris’s stay gave us the opportunity to introduce another side of Hilton Brussels Grand Place: Sentro.

Led by Chef Vincent Masson, Sentro combines Belgian influences with seasonal ingredients and contemporary touches.

Ahead of the busy weekend, our team prepared a selection inspired by the restaurant’s menu, bringing elements of Brussels directly into the stay without interrupting the opportunity to relax in private.

Belgian-inspired dishes and familiar local favourites form part of Sentro’s culinary identity, reflecting our aim to connect an international hotel experience with the city just outside our doors.

That experience continued through our 24/7 room service, with a curated selection of cocktails, wines, bar bites, and non-alcoholic creations from Sentro Bar available to be enjoyed in the privacy of the suite.

From Brussels to Tomorrowland

Another advantage of staying at Hilton Brussels Grand Place is having Brussels at your doorstep while remaining well connected to experiences beyond the city.

Located beside Brussels Central Station and moments from the Grand Place, the hotel offers a convenient base for discovering the capital, whether that means exploring its architecture, museums, restaurants, seasonal events, or simply wandering through its historic streets.

For Paris, Brussels was also the starting point for one of the biggest moments of her weekend: her performance at Tomorrowland.

Held in Boom, Tomorrowland has grown into one of Belgium’s most internationally recognised events and one of the world’s best-known electronic music festivals, welcoming artists and visitors from across the globe.

While Paris headed from Brussels to the festival, the hotel remained the family’s base in the capital: somewhere to prepare before the performance, return afterwards, and recharge between busy moments.

For guests whose plans involve a little more time exploring the capital, there is plenty happening closer to home too. Discover some of our favourite activities and seasonal experiences in Brussels here.

Little moments, big memories

The moments guests remember most are not always the ones planned furthest in advance.

Before the family left Hilton Brussels Grand Place, there was one final surprise waiting: Smurfette.

After Phoenix and London had spent the weekend enjoying their Smurfs gifts, meeting Smurfette herself brought the story full circle.

What followed was wonderfully simple: playing together, posing for pictures, filming spontaneous videos, and plenty of laughter.

There was no need for an elaborate itinerary. For a few minutes, it was simply a family enjoying an unexpected moment together.

And that is often where the best memories begin.

From a lobby dressed in pink and a personalised Presidential Suite to Belgian flavours, thoughtful gifts, family time, and one very excited Smurfette, Paris Hilton’s third stay with us became an example of what hospitality can look like when the experience is built around the guest.

Every stay brings a different reason for travelling, different people, and different moments worth remembering.

Our role is to make room for them.

A little sliving, thoughtfully hosted.

Staying at Hilton Brussels Grand Place places you at the heart of it all. With many of Brussels’ top attractions just a short walk away (and excellent public transport connections right on your doorstep), you’ll spend less time travelling and more time making memories.
